We have some very exciting news relating to a well-deserved promotion of Lyndsey Gates!!
Our growth over the last year has been phenomenal and we are strengthening our team with even more talented people across the UK and at our head office with the help of specialist recruitment agents.
Part of our growth includes the promotion of Lyndsey to Operations Director as of today.
Having joined the business in 2022, Lyndsey has built a great head office function as Operations and Compliance Manager. With more schemes on the horizon, and more assessors and head office people joining us, Lyndsey’s role has become more strategic.
Simply are currently recruiting to fill a new role of Compliance Manager who will manage the existing schemes on top of leading a team of administrators that look after our customer’s journey from start to finish. This will release Lyndsey’s time to be more focused on developing strategies around our operations and schemes.
Alexandra Gates, MD of Simply Certification and Simply Learning tells us:
“This is an extremely exciting time for Simply. Our turnover from last year has more than doubled within the certification business and we have gone from a small team in a rented space to a business with over 30 employees across the business organisations on our own Simply site in a short space of time.
Lyndsey has been integral to this success, and we have now put in place a structure that will see us over the next 5 years to manage all the current and new schemes with the right people on the Simply bus.
Although we share the same surname ‘Gates’, we are not related which is what most people assume. However, we have most certainly created a family feel within the business due to our core values, and this is what I feel has been a key to our success.”
Lyndsey explains:
“The journey that I have experienced with Simply has been fantastic. I couldn’t wish for a better team of people. The speed in which we have brought our service to market, that challenges the larger CBs who have been around for some time, is nothing short of brilliant.
Our aim is to widen our product portfolio to service the whole of the built environment. We’ve been exceptionally successful with Retrofit and Renewable and I’m now tasked with getting underway with schemes that meet the needs of design and construction.”
