The process

The beginning bit

  • We will match you with one of our excellent auditors and book in your date for a “Stage One Assessment.” This assessment is a document review to ensure your management system meets the ISO standards.

  • Your “Stage Two Assessment” will also be programmed in, usually 4-6 weeks after your Stage One. This is a review of your day to day operations so that we can collect evidence to demonstrate your working practices are in line with your management system.

  • If there are no major non conformances following from your Stage Two we will issue your certification. If there are non conformances you will have 6 weeks to address them and provide proof.

  • If you want to proceed, simply let us know by email.

  • We will run through an application questionnaire to gain a deeper understanding of your business. We will be able to determine if we have to reduce or increase the number of man days needed for your assessment at this stage. This is a UKAS requirement.

The middle bit

  • Supply your management system documentation to our assessorWe will match you with one of our excellent auditors and book in your date for a “Stage One Assessment.” This assessment is a document review to ensure your management system meets the ISO standards.

  • Your “Stage Two Assessment” will also be programmed in, usually 4-6 weeks after your Stage One. This is a review of your day to day operations so that we can collect evidence to demonstrate your working practices are in line with your management system.

  • If there are no major non conformances following from your Stage Two we will issue your certification. If there are non conformances you will have 6 weeks to address them and provide proof.

The ongoing bit

  • Once you have gained certification you enter into a cycle of surveillance audits. We always provide a consistent and efficient audit program.

  • These are much shorter than the initial audit and are carried out to ensure your organisation is meeting the ISO standard.

  • When you come towards the end of the three years, we will be in touch to organise a re-assessment visit.  This won’t be as in detail as the initial audit and will start off the next three year cycle.

  • We always work closely with our clients to ensure they are happy with our service and have ongoing communications throughout your cycle to discuss any changes that may effect your certification.
