Alex is the founder of Simply Certification Limited and has led the business from a start-up concept to one of the UK’s fastest-growing certification bodies. With over 30 years of experience in marketing, business development, commercial strategy and certification, she brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial vision and industry expertise.

After entering the certification sector in 2017, Alex recognised an opportunity to create a certification body that combined technical excellence with outstanding customer service. Since founding Simply Certification, she has overseen significant growth, expanded the business across multiple certification schemes, secured accreditation against internationally recognised standards and successfully guided the business through its acquisition by the Normec Group.

Today, Alex focuses primarily on the commercial growth and strategic direction of the business, having stepped back from much of the day-to-day operational delivery. Her focus is on developing new opportunities, building strategic partnerships and ensuring Simply Certification continues to innovate and grow in an evolving market.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends, and switching off with a good reality TV series.
