Installers that deliver under Government funding schemes such as Energy Company Obligation (ECO) Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF), Great British Insulation Scheme (BIS), Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS), Home Upgrade Grant (HUG) and Sustainable Warmth, need to demonstrate they are installing to recognised standards accepted by Government.
We act as a third party assessment body that delivers assessments under these accepted standards, which include:
Our role is to use the assessment requirements provided by the bodies listed above and to carry out an initial assessment to see if they meet the requirements of the standard – this results in initial certification.
In order for the installer to retain certification they must have surveillance assessments on a sample of their installs.
The calculation of this sample will be determined by the standard provided by the bodies above.
Certification is renewed yearly.
